IMPORTANT, please fill the questions
We assume you are using Bitnami to deploy your application.
Which version of the application are you using?:
I have launched the Bitnami jenkins in Google cloud instance.
Please choose how you got the application: Installer (Windows, Linux, macOS), cloud image (AWS, GCE, Azure, ...) or VM (VMDK, VBOX):
Have you installed any plugin or modified any configuration file?:
Installed Google Credentials plugin, however it did not work as expected when added the credentials for checking out the code from the Google cloud source repository.
Describe here your question/suggestion/issue (expected and actual results):
I am trying to build the jenkins instance (via bitnami) to enable the continuous delivery from the google cloud source repository. I tried to follow the this document (https://hackerfall.com/story/google-app-engine-now-supports-git-push-to-deploy), however I get the following errors,
When adding the GIT credentials, when choosing the "Google service account from metadata" in kind option, it adds the credentials but not showing up in the options to choose in the project configuration. So, I have just used the "user/password" in kind option to workaround the same.
When executing "mvn appengine:deploy" in the build step (Execute shell), it throws
Could not find goal 'deploy' in plugin com.google.appengine:appengine-maven-plugin:1.9.54 among available goals...
When executing "mvn gcloud:deploy" in the build step, it throws,
No plugin found for prefix 'gcloud' in the current project and in the plugin groups [org.apache.maven.plugins, org.codehaus.mojo] available from the repositories [local (/home/tomcat/.m2/repository), central (https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2)
I have installed the maven and the Google Cloud SDK was installed by default in the instance. However, I am not able to run the build successfully. Also, I am not sure how the package is shipped and deployed to the app engine.
