- First of all, did you have a backup of your instance? If so, please, restore it.
Upgrades from 2.4.0 to latest brings some schema changes so the default update method could not properly work. Instead, you have to download the new update script, put it into the root of your Mautic installation and run it. You can do it with the following commands:
sudo mv upgrade.php upgrade.php.old
sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mautic/mautic/master/upgrade.php
sudo su daemon -s /bin/bash -c "/opt/bitnami/php/bin/php /opt/bitnami/apps/mautic/htdocs/upgrade.php"
- If you don't have a backup of your instance or you find any issues when trying to run the previous commands, I recommend you to follow this complete guide: Uh Oh, Mautic upgrade was not successful. You only need to be careful when running commands like:
php app/console cache:clear
You will need to substitute them with the following:
# sudo su daemon -s /bin/bash -c "<php binary> app/console <command>"
sudo su daemon -s /bin/bash -c "/opt/bitnami/php/bin/php app/console cache:clear"
Hope it helps. If you find further problems or you have any other question, please don’t hesitate to ask.
