The EC2 instance has been running fine on its own since a while when suddenly the "Error establishing database connection" message popups up!
on the shell, 'mysql not running' was showing up when I had tried to restart it.
So, I investigate a little and find that the volume is 100% full (not sure why or how) so I go ahead and delete some backup files (inside wp-content folder) via the terminal.
The volume is now 15% free.
I am able to successfully start mysql this time around.
But the website still gives me the 'Error establishing a database connection' message!
I am able to connect & login to MySql via the terminal and using the credentials in wp-config.
What am I missing here?
Also, how do I keep the volume from filling up again?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
