Launching a new instance and migrating the data is a good idea. However, if you do this, you can run into the same problem again as you don't really know what plugin/theme was causing the issue. Debugging the error as I mentioned above is something I suggest you do whenever you have a problem. Of course, we always suggest users to download the themes/plugins from trusted sources. If you use other resources, you can receive a really big surprise the next time you try to access your site.
Please note that we don't know how all the WordPress plugins work or if they have any bug that is causing problems when using the application. That's why we also suggest the users to contact the WordPress' developers of the plugins' support pages to know more about the error and who to debug it.
