I instead get the good ole too many redirects error
I reproduced your issue of getting the too many redirects when setting HTTPS in the Ghost config file in a fresh new server, so I restored it back to the original value (specifying
http:// and the port 80), and I can still see my site secured after that, but I think the right value should be to configure the
url parameter with HTTPS.
I also followed the steps in the official Ghost documentation linked below, but using the
ghost config tool didn't help me, I continue having the too many redirects issue.
According to the guide above, it is required to set some Apache headers,
X-Forwarded-For, but I'm not sure about the values they may be set. Can you ask in the official Ghost forums for help on this?
The Apache configuration should be added in the
/opt/bitnami/apps/ghost/conf/httpd-prefix.conf file, and you will need to restart Apache for changes to take effect with
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart Apache
Apart from that, I don't see any error in the Apache configuration you posted (or in the one included from the bnsupport bundle), and maybe we are only missing the headers they are mentioning on their guide.
