How to enable desktop access
install ubuntu-desktop and modify the lightdm configuration to allow the desktop access using the bitnami user.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
Then I was called away and ended up shutting down the VM before I could do this

My guess is I should start over, recreate the mean vm and finish all the steps for desktop access, but I thought I would ask first. I get a prompt to login for bitnamiftp and for quest. bitnamiftp did not work as the password.
using the bitnami username and password did not work for either su or sudo
? is 1) is there a default bitnamiftp password
2) is there a quick workaround to edit the lightdm
3) or is that quick workaround, recreate?
