Enable and apply A custom theme

Hello community,
I am trying to use custom theme for my running instance in Google cloud. I follow to https://docs.bitnami.com/installer/apps/edx/configuration/install-theme/#custom-theme-configuration

Below step from above documentation has an issue
“In order to enable a custom theme for LMS, modify the installdir/apps/edx/conf/lms.env.json file and apply the following changes (example):”

the issue is I can not find lms.env.json file from “/opt/bitnami/apps/edx/conf” is there anything I missing.

Thanks for your message. The OpenEdX internal configuration changed from .json files to .yaml files a couple of major releases ago more or less. Unfortunately, we didn’t update our guides, sorry for the inconvenience.

Can you follow the official guides from the app developers? The cms.yml and lms.yml files are located under the /opt/bitnami/apps/edx/conf directory.

Take into account you don’t need to set the filesystem permissions mentioned in that guide. In our system, the permissions should be already set to the right values.
