Emails and Notifications in moodle use localhost 127.0.0.1:80 instead of our URL

Description:
Localhost does not resolve correctly and users see an ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE webpage.

How can I get the emails and notification to use our URL and not localhost?

We are currently aware of this and have a task to resolve it in our backlog. Could you please check out this thread, that covers a workaround to fix it in the meantime:
