Hello, I've been searching for this issue but can't seem to find an answer.
I changed the instance type of my EC2 and since then my website/app will not come back online. I changed it from t2.micro to t2.nano. I also changed it back to t2.micro but still no-go.
-I used a Bitnami MEAN stack for my instance.
-I can still SSH from the a terminal into my instance (username@ec2-public-ip-address-blahblahblah).
-I can see all my files/folders, my app dir, etc. I can git clone my repo. From what I can tell, everything is there that was there before changing the instance type.
-I cannot resolve anything in the browswer using the public dns - I cannot ping public DNS or the public IP address via command line.
-My .pem's haven't changed.
-I have restarted the apache2 server and restarted my node server, both after logging in via SSH. When restarting the the node server, it appears do to so without any errors as it did before. Nothing different that I remember.
I was a fool and did not take a snapshot before changing. My snapshot list is empty. I honestly didn't think changing an instance type would erase everything.
Is there anything else I can check? Why can I see my files, but not resolve anything? I must be mis-understanding how everything connects together. Any help is appreciated.
