I tried several options to solve the problem. question updated
I am trying to migrate an application from a local Django stack into the cloud, and looking for it the right way.
To develop my application I used Django stack 1.5 installer for windows on local computer. Development is almost finished and now I want to try to move your application to the cloud hosting. To do this, I see several ways, each with their prolblems, but perhaps did not see the correct (provided by default).
Way 1: The first thing I did it go Btnami console and created a server with Django. But when connected via FTP client with the server file system, I found that the version of Django installed by default - 1.4 and there is a lot of feed what I do not need. Going this way, I can copy the local stack files via FTP to the server. But will not there be a problem of the presence of the two versions on the server Django? In what directory you want to copy my project in this case?
Way 2: I go to the page Django stack (https://bitnami.com/stack/django), where I was once downloaded Django stack 1.5 installer. Then Cloud > Amazon Cloud. Next, I chose the location server and the version of Django stacks (1.5).
Way 2.1: Next, I moved on to an Amazon page and there he built a server using a private pair. This means, as I understand that I have access to my files only through shh connection (this means I can not use FileZilla or WinSCP, this means there is no graphical interface for file sharing, and it is very inconvenient) Then I connected through putti with amazon and imported server Btnami. I was hoping that in this case I can use SFTP connection, but when trying to connect via FileZilla or WinSCP I get a reply from the server: 'public key'.
Way 2.2: there is an option (I have not tried it) when create a server on Amazon do not use private key pair. And then try the same way as in 2.1. And then, I may be able to use SFTP connection. But whether it is a safe way?
Is there any standard way for solve this problem?
ps. On the page http://wiki.bitnami.com/Native_Installers_Quick_Start_Guide in part 'How to migrate the application installed on your machine to your hosting provider?' shows some of the commands. Where to find the command line in account to enter it?
