Coming back to your case. The
/tmp folder should be at the root of the filesystem but this is a temporary folder (its content is deleted from time to time) so it is possible that the path you're looking for doesn't exist at this moment.
If you run
find /tmp -name 'qti_conversion_error.log'
you're searching for a file named
/tmp and subfolders. You can use this command to find the file.
