Description:
Hi
I followed the steps https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/infrastructure/django/get-started/deploy-django-project/
My project was named “django_triflion” so I edited the .conf files in vhosts but I am unable to host my django project on apache. Tried to debug several times and messed up my apache server on one VM. Created a new VM and tried to follow the steps again but failed.

Hi @smath,

In the Apache log the following error is shown:

bitnami-django-info-20210719-135401-2517/apache/logs/error_log:8:148:[Mon Jul 19 08:47:30.463970 2021] [wsgi:error] [pid 30600] [client 13.232.98.39:57065] No WSGI daemon process called 'sample' has been configured: /opt/bitnami/projects/django_triflion/django_triflion/wsgi.py

In the guide the example should be called “sample” (and needs to be placed in “/opt/bitnami/projects/sample”) as described here:

https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/infrastructure/django/get-started/deploy-django-project/#enable-predefined-virtual-hosts-for-a-django-project

Can you check the WSGIDaemonProcess value in " /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/vhosts/myapp-http-vhost.conf "?

Regards,
Michiel
