Hello,

I am trying to set up e-mail ending on the wordpress site and am running into some issues.
I currently have the wordpress site set up through Amazon Lightsail, domain through Google Domains, and email through Office 365.

I am running into an error when trying to set up emails on Wordpress using the WP Mail SMTP plugin.

I receive the following error:
SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Did you configure SMTP following our Configure SMTP For Outbound Emails guide? Could you specify where are you getting the error?
