Couch db with http connection issue - First time

Keywords: CouchDB - Microsoft Azure - Technical issue - Other
Description:
We are connecting the Microsoft Azure Couch DB service using http connection.
When I check the CouchDB log, it closes the index of the db after sometime, as there is no activity with the couch db.

At this point after the couch db index is closed, if a request is sent from the client to view a document, it is throwing java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out ERROR.

But the subsequent after that error worked.

Can you kindly let me know if any configuration is required at couch db to avoid this error?

Hi @bikramjit84,

Did you enable the remote connections in the service?

Could you please let us know the changes you made in the instance before running into this issue?

We have a Support Tool that will gather relevant information for us to debug the issue. Could you please download and execute it on the machine where the stack is running by following the steps described in the guide below?

How to Run the Bitnami Support Tool

Please note that you need to paste the code outputted by the tool in your reply.

Yes I will do that.

We are able to connect to the CouchDB from my client code using http protocol. The only issue that is the connection timeout for the very first request whenever I see that index close message in Clouchdb log. After this error, the next call is successful
