I've recently upgraded my Bitnami Drupal stack to 7.43-2. Prior to this, I would use the XAMPP control panel to control Apache and MySQL. Now, with this version, there appears to be a new utility, Bitnami Drupal Stack Manager tool that is causing a bit of confusion. First, I'm not sure which tool to use. Second, when I look at the Bitnami tool it shows apache web server is running but MySQL is not. It will not allow me to start the MySQL server. But, when I look at the XAMPP control panel, it shows me that MySQL is running and apache is not. Each tool is complaining that the other has the requested port in use. This seems like a conflict waiting to happen. Can anyone shed some light on what the appropriate tool to use is? I don't feel like I should have both tools available and running.
