Configure Wordpress HA to force SSL

Describe here your question/suggestion/issue (expected and actual results):
Not sure how to force SSL on my installation. Tried to install using an existing SSL certificate but that install failed, so went for default HTTP installation which is fine, but now I need to change it to use SSL only, but can't find instructions on how to achieve this.
Steps to reproduce the issue (if relevant):

Hi @Ibone,

Thanks for your reply. I've followed that document, amended the files, opened up port 443 but there is no re-writing on port 80 to port 443. I can happily open http://mysite.com but it doesn't redirect me to https://mysite.com.

Is there something else that needs to be done?

Hi @alan4,

What approach did you follow (A or B)?
if you are using approach A, check you write all the lines in the three files, but if you use approach B please check this line you write your domain:

RewriteRule ^/(.*) https://DOMAIN_NAME/$1 [R,L]

If you still have problems, please rerun the bnsupport.

Hi @Ibone,

I decided to blow the stack away and had another go at re-creating it using SSL again and this time it created it 100% successfully and it's auto-redirecting HTTP to HTTPS! Not sure why it didn't work before, but it's happily working now, so thanks for your assistance and sorry that I didn't persevere.
