Hi @joel_moya1387,

You can find more information on how to configure a static IP address here:

I do not use any particular cloud, the application is installed on a local server.

Hi @joel_moya1387,

The best option is to use the Bitnami PostgreSQL VM and set up a static IP following the guide below:

https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/configuration/configure-static-address/

Hi
Complete the procedure indicated in https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/configuration/configure-static-address/

25-wired.network

[Match]
Name = ens18
[Network]
Address = 172.18.146.37 / 24
Gateway = 172.18.146.5
DNS = 172.18.146.7

99-dhcp.network

[Match]
Name = ens18
[Network]
dhcp = no

I do not know if I’m doing something wrong because it does not work and I’m without an IP number?

OK thank you very much

Hi,

Can you copy/paste here the output of sudo ifconfig in order to check if the values returned by this command and the ones existing in the file are set properly?

Did you restart the VM?

Hello
I already found my error.
My problem was that I was misconfiguring the dhcp options
In my case I had dhcp = no, but it was wrong, I replaced it with dhcp = false and I recognized the configurtacion correctly.
Thank you so much for everything
