Commands required to verify status and firewall status on RabbitMQ

  1. Find out the command to see whether the RabbitMQ service is running or not.
  2. Find out the command to turn off firewall on an appliance based RabbitMQ (.ova)

issue i am facing : i am unable to telnet rabbitmq on port 5672,

i want to know how i can verify rabbitmq service and firwall status?

sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh status
