The goal is to create an AWS AMI that i can use to install on new EC2 instances for entirely different companies for their own websites.
I created an AWS EC2 instance with the Bitnami Wordpress Multisite AMI.
I installed plugin, themes and other stuff that i will use on all sites.
I created an AMI of this instances.
Then, I installed this AMI on a new EC2 instance.
First, I noticed the user password was the same. Which I will change.
I also noticed that when going to the wp-admin login, the address will sometimes appear:
I have not yet done anything with domain names as each instance will be unique.
Each instances should have its own user database and in no way reference back to the initial instances from which I created the AMI.
Is this the best way to do this? And are there other things I need to change with each new instance i setup with this AMI?
