I ran those commands and it didn't work, using what you mentioned onto the image folder;
*/10 * * * * * sudo chown -R /opt/bitnami/apps/website/htdocs/images
The error I received was the following;
crontab: installing new crontab
"/tmp/crontab.HDlnwi/crontab":0: bad command
errors in crontab file, can't install.
Do you want to retry the same edit? (y/n)
So, then I removed one of the "*"; as I figured it might be too many and tried again, as:
*/10 * * * * sudo chown -R /opt/bitnami/apps/website/htdocs/images
.... And, received the same error - above.
Did a little digging and thought to test out the following commands;
sudo crontab -e
Then executed your command - minus - the additional "*" and it seemed to work... Along with adding the following owner/group permissions, as so:
*/10 * * * * * sudo chown -R bitnami:daemon /opt/bitnami/apps/marketeers/htdocs/images
Now, this one seemed to work; along with the file, permission is set to 644; instead of 664.
Is this correct?
