Describe here your question/suggestion/issue (expected and actual results):
I have a hapi API in /opt/bitnami/apps/.... and when I configure the server.js file to start on port 3000 everything is fine. However, when I change the port to 80, calls to the API time out.
I have followed the instructions at the following link because others seem to have had success this way, but it does not work for me. If I start up my application (node server.js &) with anything other than port 3000 nothing appears in the results of "netstat --listen", and there is no process running for node (ps -ef | grep node). Of course, those commands return the expected results when I do start it up on port 3000.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
