Description:
Hey guys.
I just installed the AWS AMI bitnami-mariadb-10.4.12-0-r01-linux-debian-9-x86_64-hvm-ebs-nami - ami-06f7f724f2f839acf (my first AMI all times) and it seems to be OK, I managed to access it through Putty and login into the database.
However, I don't want to keep the original passwords for users bitnami (Debian) and root (MariaDB) for security reasons. Thus, I have tried a lot of commands to change both, failed in all attempts. My knowledge of Linux and MariaDB is superficial and I really need guidance here.
So, please, tell me how should I proceed to change these passwords.
Best regards,
Renato
