Certain pages on this WordPress multisite installation suddenly take several minutes to load, while other pages are fine and do not have issues.
/opt/bitnami/apache2/logs/error_log shows a number of errors with AHXXXX error codes, such as:
[core:error] [pid 6990:tid 140378195857024] AH00046: child process 7011 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL
[core:error] [pid 7009:tid 140377692456704] [client 184.108.40.206:59493] AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.
A text file with the last 1000 lines of the error_log can be found here: http://crestcom.com/wp-content/uploads/error-log-1000.txt
Examples pages that load normally:
Examples of pages that do eventually load, but literally take minutes:
We have tried restarting apache/php-fpm/mysql for good measure with no success. If it was a server issue we think it would be affecting all pages and not just a segment of pages. We ran the problematic/slow URLs through gtmetrix but that utility timed out and could not load the pages. We don't see anything bizarre when looking at the console and network outputs using developer tools in the Chrome browser. We ran a HealthCheck plugin for wordpress that did not detect any plugin issues.
Can someone point us in the right direction to diagnose and correct this? Thanks in advance!
