Can't start mysql on bitnami

Hello,

I have a problem about starting mysql. I use "sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart mysql" command. But it fails always. I cant solve this problem.

Also I realized I can't find my "mysql.sock" and "mysqld.pid" files on "/opt/bitnami/mysql/tmp/" path.

Hi @caliskanmu,

You have very little available RAM memory on your machine, while using a lot of swap memory.

You can check with the following command:

free -m

I recommend upgrading the instance:

Thanks for reply. I have already solved my problem.

I share here how I solved because it may help others too. I found that removing of my "mysql-bin.log" files caused this problem. I put last binary log file into mysql folder and finally it is solved.
