The tool returned a "connection timed out" error. It seems it can't connect to your SMTP provider URL and the port you specified. Please review the configuration and contact the owners of that SMTP server to know more about what's happening with the connection.

please be informed that i've used three different mail system sittings and it didnt work
I just configured the Bitnami Moodle application in an AWS instance and I received the testing email correctly.
The instructions I followed were the ones we have in our documentation site
