Description:
Hello Sir,
I have an issue and need some help please. When I upload an image to wordpress I can see that the image goes under http:/… and not https. I tried forcing the https redirection using https://docs.bitnami.com/bch/apps/wordpress-multisite/administration/force-https-apache/ the B approach but in vain!

Also tried to edit the wp-config file but can’t see the
define( ‘WP_HOME’, ‘http://example.com’ );
define( ‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘http://example.com’ );
options.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Amine_Kaddar,

In order to configure the domain names in WordPress Multisite, you will need to follow this guide

https://docs.bitnami.com/google/apps/wordpress-multisite/configuration/configure-wordpress-multisite/

If the image was uploaded before configuring the SSL certificate, the image was probably configured with http. You will need to update the info in the database and this plugin can help you

https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/

Happy to help!

Hello @jota,
I followed all the steps you mentioned above the day I set up my domain.
The installation is fresh, and there was no images before. I created the SSL, I then redirected to https, all fine until I try to upload an image. it always goes to http.
My issue is that I need to change the url to https instead of http:… in the image attached:

Thank you for you time!

Hi @Amine_Kaddar,

If you are trying to configure the domain of the main blog, please follow the steps here, you will need to edit the wp-config.php file

https://docs.bitnami.com/google/apps/wordpress-multisite/configuration/configure-wordpress-multisite/#configure-the-domain-for-the-wordpress-multisite-main-blog

If not, you should be able to edit the domain in the admin panel of the application.
