I got a problem with Bitnami Trac Stack 1.0.1 (Windows 64bit). Please, can you help me how I can get svn lock working?:
My Apache server reports error logging:
Tried to attach multiple locks to a resource. [400, #405]
this happens when my Windows ColabNet command-line svn client (1.7.8) tries svn lock. The server svn version (coming with Bitnami Trac Stack) is 1.7.5 (Win32). The same happens with my Windows Tortoise client 1.7.12 on clicking "Lock" on that file. Both clients report "Lock failed!" with the error message
Server sent unexpected return value (400 Bad Request)
in response to LOCK request for '...snip.../test.c'
The appropriate subdir
/locks of that svn repository is empty on server side.
I already searched the internet and found this ancient forum discussion where a guy had that problem also. They dived into a talk about the source, and it sounds like an ancient bug in the interaction of
mod_dav_svn. From the description,
mod_dav_svn is given looking at uninitialised memory when it checks for the next element of the lock chain, and that triggers the error on server side.
Another developer forum discussion talks about that error and found out it's probably a build issue. I don't know if the Bitnami developer team may find this as useful.
