Describe here your question/suggestion/issue (expected and actual results):
Canvas was recently working and SIS imports did not seem to work for some reason (Error was ERROR 502 when using SIS Import)...Typically somehow removing the log files seem to resolve this problem.
However, now, after removing both log files (delayed_jobs.log and production.log), Canvas does not seem to start properly anymore.
The following is the response when trying to start Canvas via the ctlscript.sh start
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart
/opt/bitnami/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd stopped
Stopping canvas_init daemon, it could take some seconds...
/opt/bitnami/apps/canvaslms/scripts/ctl.sh : canvas_init not running
/opt/bitnami/redis/scripts/ctl.sh : redis not running
/opt/bitnami/postgresql/scripts/ctl.sh : postgresql not running
waiting for server to start.... stopped waiting
pg_ctl.bin: could not start server
Examine the log output.
/opt/bitnami/postgresql/scripts/ctl.sh : postgresql could not be started
/opt/bitnami/redis/scripts/ctl.sh : redis could not be started
Starting canvas_init daemon, it could take some seconds...
/opt/bitnami/apps/canvaslms/scripts/ctl.sh : canvas_init could not be started
/opt/bitnami/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started at port 80
I've checked the following log files but they are all empty:
- delayed_jobs.log is not existent...
