Did you try the steps after the installation of pear/Net_SMTP and pear/Mail-1.4.1?

I couldn't try it because I don't know where is that pear directory in which I have to place my PHP file that sends email. There is a pear object in /opt/bitnami/php/bin/, but it is not a directory. It's a file. Then I got confused, because there should appearently be a directory named pear inside /opt/bitnami/php/bin/.

Hi @Ibone

I could finally locate the pear directory and the Mail.php file inside it by checking this thread. Tomorrow I will try to use the PHP code in the guide you posted here to send email. If I have any new trouble to do so, I come back here for more guidance. Thank you for the help you've given me so far.
