I have been having a very difficult time accessing the SonarQube console through my browser via a NAT connection. I would have liked to use a bridged connection, but the VM doesn't seem to like that (keeps telling me that it can't access the network configuration).
When I first launch the Bitnami console, it tells me to go to http://10.0.2.15 in my browser. Since I'm using NAT, I have to configure some port forwarding in order to make it work. I know that SonarQube uses port 9000 as default, so I have 10:0.2.15:9000 forwarded to my localhost at 127.0.0.1:9001 via the virtualbox network settings. Theoretically, this should allow me to me go to my browser and connect to 127.0.0.1:9001, but it either refuses connection or times out.
Is there any way to resolve this? I'm under the impression I have something configured incorrectly. I can post more information if necessary.
