Keywords: Kafka - Virtual Machines - Technical issue - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)Description: I installed the kafka vm using Virtualbox. The machine is running fine with bridged adapter settings. The vm gets an IP address and I can ping to my network and can ping the vm. However, I can not browse to the machine using either port 80 or 443. The directions indicate that I should be able to access via web browser. I'm not sure there is a web server running on this vm??Thanks!
Kafka stack is one of the few stack where we do not include a Web Server. Where did you see that you could access a web server in the stack? If there is an error in the direction we would like to correct them.

Thanks for the response Javier. That was my suspicion. Both the documentation here: https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/infrastructure/kafka/ and the FAQ's located here: https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/faq/#how-to-remotely-access-the-bitnami-application indicate access is via a browser. Snip below:
Thank you very much for reporting it, as mentioned above, Kafka stack doesn't include a web server, so it is a mistake in our documentation. I just filled an internal ticket to solved it.
