I am using Bitnami Magento stack for AWS v2.3.5.
It’s setup using the bncert tool to have the http to https redirect, non-www to www.
Anyway I’ve turned on Varnish in admin settings, set the varnish config to 127.0.0.1 port 81.
I’m using the default magento.vcl for varnish with the backend settings pointing to 127.0.0.1:81.
Apache is listening on port 81, configured with the settings described here: https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/apps/magento/administration/configure-use-varnish/ section “Use Varnish™ With SSL”.
Now I’ve played with every combination of port and configure file in this mess of Apache conf’s.
Everything is resulting in ERR too many redirects.
I’ve also experimented with setting magento core settings use secure URL to 0.
Is there explicit information available that shows exactly which Conf files to edit and get Varnish working with HTTPS enabled bitnami Magento stack?
That guide isn’t specifically for Magento default Bitnami stack, and I suspect it’s misleading.
Thanks for any help.
