noob here. I have tried "everything" and I am frustrated. I followed the instructions for the bitnami infrastructure ruby stack, but no luck. I made the httpd-vhosts.conf file and added the include file in the path called out in the instructions, changed daemon permissions, but NO MATTER what I do apache always seems to launch the same default site ("congratulations you are using ruby, etc.") from the index.html in the /opt/bitnami/apache/htdocs dir.
maybe I am so clueless as to what I am doing that this is such a simple question that no instuctions bother to include this, but: HOW do I get apache to serve the ruby app to my domain name, so if someone goes to my www.mysite.com they see my welcome page and dont have to go to www.mysite.com:3000. I would like to just even get the sample app up.
thanks for any help.
