I have originally installed VM instance to GCP using the Bitnami console. At time of setup, I have already configured WinSCP to connect to each VM instance on GCP using key(s) that was obtained from the Bitnami Launchpad.
I have applied the upgrades to software via admin panel and/or FTP. One time we had a bad upgrade, which said that the update was successfully however we eventually found that it broke a couple things
Attempting to restore using the last known good version, I have restored the image to a new IP address, which also involves updating the SSL certificate and update to DNS.
Now I'm unable to get back into the file system via WinSCP. I have been working with instance directly in GCP and forgotten to work with these instance using the Bitnami console. Now the connection is broken between Bitnami Launchpad and GCP. The existing key form the original Bitnami install does not work anymore via WinSCP.
Can I still use the original key (PEM PPK) obtained from Bitnami to get into the duplicated instance? If not, how can I obtain the new private key that is needed to get back into the file system via WinSCP?
As the connection is now broken between VM instances between Bitnami and GCP, should I delete the VM machines listed in Bitnami Launchpad as all showing shop status?
