Description:
I run the " df -H " command and find this: /dev/xvda1 64G 61G 12M 100% /
I am just running a static wordpress site
My database is stopped and unable to start

I resolved this before by snapshotting my instance, spinning up a new server with more disk space, but now this one is full and I need to solve this issue and get to the bottom of it.

Thanks!

Hi @edwardrick997,

It seems you are running out of RAM memory, which is the most probable cause of mysql not starting up. Can you run the following command:

free -h

Regards,
Michiel

I get this table:
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 1.9Gi 892Mi 145Mi 110Mi 957Mi 829Mi
Swap: 0B 0B 0B

How do I solve this issue? Thanks for the advice.

Hi @wesleybaxterhuber,

I recommend adding a EBS volume to get more disk space:
