Bitnami-phpbb-3.2.8-0-module-windows not supported on bitnami-wampstack-7.3.11-0-windows. PHP version not supported

Description:
Attempting to install bitnami-phpbb-3.2.8-0-module-windows on bitnami-wampstack-7.3.11-0-windows. Fails to install due to the fact that it states it does not support PHP versions 7.3.0 or higher. Only supports php version up to 7.2.x. This kind of makes me scratch my head... because the module addon is FOR WAMP that is distributed via bitnami. So why would their own module not be supported for the install distribution of WAMP that they put out?????? The module support needs to be updated to work with at lease the PHP version that bitnami wamp install supports. lol

Hi @gratefuljim73,

The pbpBB application doesn't work with PHP 7.3, that's why we include that validation in our module to avoid its installation. You can use any other PHP version (7.1.x or 7.2.x) to install the application on top of WAMP. To achieve that, you will need to uninstall the WAMP solution from your computer (if you don't have any data) and install any of the other versions we provide in bitnami.com. After that, please install the phpBB module on top of it.

Could you specify a compatible server install you are referring to.... one that doesnt have the php version issue. I would appreciate a few options.

I'll assume you are referring to installing the older version of WAMP ( WAMP 7.2.24-0 ) ... ?????

Yes @gratefuljim73,

You can use WAMP 7.2.24-0 or 7.1.33-0 and install phpBB on top of it. However, if you don't want to deploy any other app in our WAMP installation, you can simply use the phpBB stack that we provide in our website as well.

Thanks for the AWESOME Support ... Uninstalled and downgraded to WAMP 7.2.24-0. All is working great now. LOVE Bitnami !
