Thanks for the reply. This was an issue that I was facing and resolved it. I posted my solution to it so that if anyone else had a similar problem, then it could assist them in fixing it.

Step 1 requires you to check the logstash configuration file using the code on Image 1
Afterwards, you 'start' logstash using the code at Image 2
However, in my issue, when I check if ElasticSearch is receiving data using a curl command, the logstash logs would not appear. Seen on Image 3. Because ElasticSearch was not receiving data, I could not visualize it in Kibana either.
I am using bitnami version 7.6.0 but when I tried this on 7.6.2, the same error came up.
My solution: when you start logstash, you need to specify the configuration file you want to start logstash with. Therefore, instead of 'start logstash' you need to run the command,
/opt/bitnami/logstash/bin/logstash -f /opt/bitnami/logstas/pipeline/access-log.conf
