Keywords: Mattermost - AWS - How to - Other
Hey, I 'm using Bitnami Mattermost 4.0 Team Edition on AWS, which I upgrade to 4.10 over the time.
Now, after a last update directly from 4.10 to 5.4.0, the Bitnami ctlscript.sh (to start, stop & restart nginx, mysql and mattermost show's an error:
/opt/bitnami/apps/mattermost/scripts/ctl.sh : mattermost could not be started
nginx and mysql are running fine, everything (incl mattermost) is configured correctly.
The thing is: Mattermost works as well, I see it under my server processes and I can reach the web-ui. Doing some research showed, that the problem may be connected with a change in the Mattermost CLI command line tools. The former 'platform' binary, which also could start the mattermost server was removed after 4.10 and replaced by the 'mattermost' binary. So I guess, that somewhere in the bitnami scripts the 'platform' command is used to start Mattermost and/or check its status.
My question is: Where can I find this script? I guess it is a sub-script from 'ctlscript.sh ' (because I already searched there for platform and could'nt find it). And I can't find the mattermost-(sub) script as well.
I need the scripts to work correctly cause I am using them in a daily cron job to backup mattermost and at the moment I cannot stop the mattermost server using
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh stop
All other services are closed correctly. But to stop mattermost server, I have to kill it manually.
