Hi @markuslaub, I'm still trying to understand your issue.
If you access http://192.168.64.2.xip.io/, you should see the WordPress site. You should not access the site via http://192.168.64.2/ because configuring the site URL to an IP is not supported by WordPress Multisite.
If you do not want to use xip.io, you must change the host name used by WordPress, i.e. by adding a name to your
/etc/hosts like the following:
And then change the WordPress domain name in the following way within the VM's console environment:
sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/bnconfig --machine_hostname mydomain.com
It is documented here: https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/apps/wordpress-multisite/configuration/configure-wordpress-multisite/#configure-the-domain-for-the-wordpress-multisite-main-blog
Unfortunately there isn't any simple way to avoid using xip.io and not changing
/etc/hosts. If you really wanted this, you would need to buy an actual domain name, and run an SSH tunnel service that forwarded 192.168.64.5:80 and 192.168.64.5:443 to 127.0.0.1:80 and 127.0.0.1:443 respectively, but this is way more complex.
