Keywords: LAMP/MAMP/WAMP - AWS - How to - Other
I used Bitnami AWS Launchpad to launch a new LAMP instance. It didn't allow an OS choice and it created a Debian 9.9 system. I'm okay with this but my questions are:
1. When launching EC2 instances from AWS (not BN Launchpad), they label the "free tier" OS choices and Debian is not one of them. Choices are Red Hat, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, SUSE. Am I at any risk of not qualifying for the free tier because I'm using Debain which is not tagged as free tier?
- Is there a way to choose my OS and still use the Launchpad?
