I know you run those commands, but I didn't know the order of the execution.
I've just noticed a typo in our documentation ( instead of
machine-hostname you should use
machine_hostname), so probably the command was returning an error to you. Sorry for this. The command below should not show issues:
sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/magento/bnconfig --machine_hostname IP_OR_DOMAIN
bnconfig tool changes a couple of fields in the database and clear the application cache. You could check if your IP is properly set in MySQL by running:
mysql -uroot -pYOUR-DB-PASSWORD bitnami_magento -e 'select value from bitnami_magento.core_config_data WHERE core_config_data.path ="web/unsecure/base_url";'
mysql -uroot -pYOUR-DB-PASSWORD bitnami_magento -e 'select value from bitnami_magento.core_config_data WHERE core_config_data.path ="web/secure/base_url";'
I hope that using it properly helps.
If you continue facing issues, it seems you are running an external Apache not under Bitnami stack control (because you said you reinstall it). It is more difficult for us to help with this if you are using a different Apache configuration. In order to verify that Bitnami Apache is running, could you run the commands below and share the output with us?
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh status
I would like to understand how you are running it in order to help.
If you still want to migrate, we have documented two ways:
Best regards and sorry for the incoveniences
