I've installed bitnami Django on a google compute engine today (See versions below) for my first time, and I cannot configure the server to run my site (wsgi).
When I SSH into the server and run 'sudo python3 manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000', I can access my site at IP_ADDRESS:8000/APP_NAME (where APP_NAME is the name of my app, not my project!).
Next, I followed the instructions here (https://docs.bitnami.com/google/infrastructure/django/?utm_source=bitnami&utm_medium=cloudimage&utm_campaign=google#production).
Now, when I try to access IP_ADDRESS/APP_NAME, I get:
The requested URL /APP_NAME was not found on this server.
and when I try to access IP_ADDRESS/PROJECT_NAME, I get:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at email@example.com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Should I do something else/in addition?
Are the configureation files should be different if I have an app or just a project (when using wsgi I use the IP+PROJECT_NAME, and when using django 'runsever' command I use IP+APP_NAME)?
Another comment, when I do testing I need to use 'sudo python3 ...' because I need to write to files. Can that be the problem?
