I have a bitnami WAMP installation in which the Apache webserver is not listening on the configured port. Here are the particulars:
MS win 7
There are 2 network adapters, one configured to talk to a local in house intranet, the other to talk on a WWW IP address to be accessible by external users on port 443.
MYSQL is not used in this application, the database resides on another machine, accessed via the local intranet.
The Apache webserver is bound (or it should be bound) to the external net card listening on port 443.
When accessed via http: on either card there is no response, as it should be.
When accessed via https: there is no response via the external IP address.
However there is response via https: on the internal intranet adapter IP address.
Can you tell me why Apache responds via an adapter it is not supposed to be bound to but not via an adapter it is supposed to be listening on?
BTW, I have a similar configuration working on a WAMP system that is not bitnami based.
