after my LAMP stack was running stable for a while, the apache server started to be non-responsive occasionally and the only thing that would help is a restart.
After checking the apache error_logs I see the following entry (a lot of them):
AH03490: scoreboard is full, not at MaxRequestWorkers.Increase ServerLimit.
I found this bitnami thread https://community.bitnami.com/t/ah03490-scoreboard-is-full-not-at-maxrequestworkers-increase-serverlimit/72186/3 and followed the recommendation to increase the MaxRequestWorkers. I did this in /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/httpd.conf (which is a link). Is that the right spot?
I am still getting the same error and apache keeps ending up in a non-responsive state. I haven't found a solution online, most refer to a apache bug in an older version.
Anyone has an idea what could cause the problem?
Also, is there a way to automatically restart apache in case it gets stuck like this?
