So I setup a temporary test site for a client I'm doing some work for, they have a joomla site. I used azure to deploy a bitnami linux/joomla combo app from the marketplace and so far it has been great, was able to reload the site from a backup using akeeba do some test development then apply the changes to their current host etc.
What I really need to do now though is diagnose a slow down/performance issue under load, and while I can do some of that with various dev tools in the browsers I've identified that there's a portion that is happening in the php stack with one of the extensions and I would love to have like ZEND or something that can profile the back end on a page load. However I'm not as linux intuitive as I am with windows, is there any guides out there for setting up zend in this environment or anyone that can guide me through it or any other profiler that would work so I can track this stuff down?
It is bitnami joomla version 3.8.1-0, on an azure VM straight out of the marketplace setup only 2 days ago.
