This is a Bitnami Specific Question, but I will be sure to look through WordPress forums for anyone who has had a similar issue using Bitnami. I am not sure if I worded my initial post wrong. Here is why it is specific to Bitnami.
In the future I will need to update Wordpress and make sure that I don't run into any critical errors when doing so by using site migration. I may also need to upgrade the Bitnami Stack at some point if there is an update needed in the future.
The only option to site migration given in the Bitnami documentation is All in One Wordpress Migration. This works for WordPress, but not for WordPress Multisite. You have to pay $200 for that functionality. This app comes preinstalled in all Bitnami Wordpress Deployments but it is pay to use if you are setting up a Multisite.
An alternative I've found was Duplicator. The only issue is most of the tutorials I've seen heavily rely on the use of cpanel etc. I would like to know how to individually back up a site and migrate it to a site within the multisite network using the bitnami stack. Whether it be with sftp/ssh and phpmyadmin etc. Or if there is an alternative manual site back up/migration method that someone has that would be great to.
The reason I am asking is because of these examples of people trying to use duplicator to the the same thing I am trying to do now, but not succeeding.
