Before attempting to upgrade 5.0.d to 5.1, will Bitnami be releasing a new image for 5.1 anytime soon?
As you can see in this link https://www.alfresco.com/alfresco-community-download, version 5.1 is still on a early release stage. We won't be releasing an image until it is a stable version.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi @fer,My apologies, I didn't check that it was still an early release. Once it is at a stable version, do you have a general timeframe as to when you create a new image?
It all depends on the application itself, if it includes many new features and internal changes it could take us longer, but usually we have it ready few days after the release.
Thank you for your interest!
I noticedd that Alfresco has changed their versioning and now have a new General Release version: Alfresco Community Edition 201602 GA Release.
How do I get notified when you have updated your image?
We will work on this new version. You could get notified if you click the Follow blue button in the link below:https://bitnami.com/stack/alfresco
Hey, @davidg I've clicked the Follow link as you suggest in your post. I'm curious whether you might be able to provide an update? As I've seen documented online that a new GA release should be available on Bitnami within a few days, I'm curious whether there's something in the upgrade process to note about this new release?
Hi @ninafae ,
Alfresco's versioning has changed for the latest versions. The latest one is numbered as 201602 as you can find at http://sourceforge.net/projects/alfresco/files/
We released this version yesterday March 2nd at bitnami.com. You can find the installers download links at https://bitnami.com/stack/alfresco/installer
Also, you can check the Alfresco Community version changelog.txt file at https://bitnami.com/stack/alfresco/changelog.txt
Thank you! I did see that the image number changed. Thanks again!
