I included the
xdebug.remote_log config parameter to the
php.ini config file pointing to the same location (
/opt/bitnami/apache2/logs). After modifying the
php.ini file, I restarted all the Bitnami services running the command below
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart
Then, I checked that XDebug is enabled by running the next command. It returned
php -i | grep -i "xdebug support"
You can not create the
xdebug.log file in that directory because the
bitnami user doesn't have writable permission in the
/opt/bitnami/apache2/log directory. Try setting a different path in the
/opt/bitnami/php/etc/php.ini file. You could use
/home/bitnami/xdebug.log for example.
