Keywords: LAMP/MAMP/WAMP - Google Cloud Platform - Linux lampstack-1-vm 4.9.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.82-1+deb9u3 (2018-03-02) x86_64
Description: I think this is a conflict with the ports but I don't know how to resolve it.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
root@lampstack-1-vm:~# sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh status
php-fpm already running
apache not running

/opt/bitnami/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd could not be started
I have tried the following:
ben@lampstack-1-vm:~$ sudo netstat -ltnp | grep ':80'
tcp6 0 0 :::80 :::* LISTEN 4070/apache2
ben@lampstack-1-vm:~$ sudo kill -9 4070
ben@lampstack-1-vm:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
[ ok ] Restarting apache2 (via systemctl): apache2.service.
But that didn't resolve the issue
UPDATE 2: Solved
I ran the following commands and got Apache working again:
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh stop
sudo pkill -f apache
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh start
