Keywords: Drupal - Amazon Web Services - Technical issue - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)
I have created tunnel to AWS EC2 instance where is the bitnami drupal debian stack.
Accessing with phpMyadmin to AWS RDS instance works, but there is message
"Server connection: SSL is not being used" Is this critical?
What I have tried to do without succeeding:
Edited the config.inc.php (phpmyadmin)
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['ssl'] = true;
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['ssl_key'] = '/opt/bitnami/apps/drupal/conf/certs/server.key';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['ssl_cert'] = '/opt/bitnami/apps/drupal/conf/certs/server.crt';
But still the phpmyadmin panel says connection not secured.
How can I make phpmyadmin more secure with AWS?
(Also I have Ubuntu Drupal instance, and with that the access with phpmyadmin to RDS instance does not show this warning message, even the config has $cfg['Servers'][$i]['ssl'] = false; . )
